Who Will Win The National League Central
Perhaps the most open division this season, the NL central is most definitely up for grabs. A division full of powerful hitters such as Albert Pujols and Prince Fielder, it is clear that the long ball will light up stadiums this year. The Milwaukee Brewers should win the division due to an excellent combination of hitting and pitching. Count on Fielder and left fielder Ryan Braun to have great seasons, with pitchers Zach Greinke and Yovani Gallardo adding great pitching. While the Brewers may not be able to keep their core together for much longer due to payroll limitations, they are the definition of a built to win now type of team.
Both the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds will put up a strong fight in the division, with talented teams in their own right. Albert Pujols is still the best hitter in baseball, and he is sure to keep the Cardinals in the race throughout the year. On the other hand, Cincinnati continues to utilize a collection of good players. They may be the wildcard in the NL central as the scrappy team will make things hard on their opponents. However, the Brewers are the most complete team.
